Myopian Belief That Antichrist Comes From Western Confederacy

Many believe that the Antichrist will arise out of a European Western Confederacy, but could this in actual fact be a trap that many have fallen into believing? Will this coming master of evil really ascend out of Western Europe? What does the Bible tell us?

Antichrist Comes From Assyria

The Bible says that he comes out of Assyria, and there are several references made to him being an “Assyrian”: (Isaiah 10:5-6, Micah 5:5-6).

His Kingdom Was One That Was, and Will Be Again

His Empire was one that was, is not, but rises again. Assyria is the only empire in history that has disappeared both "secularly" and "archaeologically". There are still vestiges of all the other Empires that have both come and gone [all except for Assyria].

Antichrist/Assyrian and Jew

Many contest that the Antichrist may be of "Jewish Heritage". They contest that he cannot possibly be of Jewish origin, for why would such a person make a covenant with "his own people" and then launch outright war upon them, and then slay and kill them? But, there are texts that “allude” to him being of “Jewish heritage”. The Bible doesn’t tell us why he will do such things concerning "his own people", the Bible accounts only tells us that this will be so, and that he will be "empowered by Satan" to do so. And if one thinks about it, going into a pact with a trusted face has much more force than going into a pact with someone that is completely alien. It may very well be that this character [who is alive now] is known in certain Political, Military, and Financial Circles.

Judgement Antichrist Will Face for Killing his Own People the Jews

Isaiah tells us concerning the judgment rendered against Antichrist for the very fact that he did “kill his own people”:

"As for your fathers, you will not be united with them in their resting-place, because you have been the "cause of destruction" to "your land", and of "death to your own people"; the seed of the evil-doer will have no place in the memory of man" [Isaiah 14:20 BBE].

He is also known as the "worthless shepherd" that "left the flock", and the “idol shepherd" that will demand to be worshiped as "God" when he enters the 3^rd end time Jewish Temple in Jerusalem when it is standing again on Temple Mount [Defenders Study Bible].

This Master of Evil that is yet to come, he will come out of what is known as the "fertile crescent", and it will be out of "Assyria" that he will make that ascension. He may also be of "Jewish Heritage", but a man who is an "Apostate" and "opposer" of God and that of God's people.
