Israel's Return to The Land [An Alternate View]

May 14^th 1948 was not only an important date for the Land of Israel alone, but a pivotal date in the annals of World History. For after a period of almost 2000 years Israel once again had its own land, but it has been 60 years ago since that happened.

Ezekiel prophesied that Yahweh (The God of Israel) would prepare the land prior to bringing back “his people” from every corner of the Earth and once again settle them (his people) in the Land to which he would bring them to. But, once in the Land, Yahweh would give (his people) a "new heart' and a "new spirit".

The Prophets also say that there must be a “conversion” after that return to that Land, and this must happen prior to the day of Yahweh beginning and Christ’s final return occurring. When I say "conversion", I do not say to Judaism (as it is known today), or to "mainstream" Christianity, but rather to the "true worship" that the father (Yahweh) is seeking and the kind of worship he is wanting.

Israel is now over 60 years old now, many even ask if it will reach 70? Since 1948 there has been no conversion and no restoration of true worship as prophesied, so the question must be asked if this is yet future, but imminent? Is this a 70th week prophecy?

We must remember that it is the "seed of Abraham" that comes through "Isaac" is the seed that will not only "return to the Land", but also "inherit it". We must also remember that the seed returns first in “unbelief” and then there will be a “conversion” and restoration to true worship prior to the day of Yahweh beginning.

This prophecy concerning the return to the Land may be one that falls into the 70th week, as it is a prophecy that concludes when both Israel and Judah are once again united, and one whereby "David" will be King and Shepherd over the Land and the people. The latter part of the prophecy relates to the time of the Millennial Reign by the Messiah.

Life in Israel today is far from the picture that Ezekiel has painted with regards Israels return to the Land, and the return is by a specific group only, and it is this group that is going to inherit the land as prophesied.

All that has happened since 1948 onwards until now may very well have been a Land that is being prepared for this return to occur, the stage is being set for it.

So, in all essence, and taking all things into consideration and context, these prophecies may still be future, but close to be sure.
